I hate the first few weeks of a new school year. So many meetings. So many appointments. So many supplies to buy. So many teachers to meet. So many lunch accounts to fill. New bedtimes. New carpool times. New homework philosophies. New expectations. New responsibilities. New reading lists to buy. New athletic schedules. New activities. New clubs. OVERSTIMULATED kids. OVER INVOLVED parents. Still so hot. Take me away already!
I hope to get back to my own life soon.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, shock horror I've actually won something!!!! I never win anything and I'm so sorry I missed your last post telling me that I'd won. I loved that post about 'Cockle' as I love to hear about the older generation. What great stories they tell us. Living in a Victorian house, I'm always imagining what people lived here and what were they like. The trouble is, I live in the U.K. so I don't want you to send it to me if it's too expensive. I wont mind if you want to draw the name again if it's difficult to send to the U.K. XXXX
