Chicken Fried Friday

Happy 4th everybody!!! I hope the fire works shine bright above you, your grills are hot, your beers are cold, and your music great!!
As for being "Chicken Fried". We're going a bit light this week with "Fried Corn". This is so yummy, and great for all your kiddos with braces that can't eat good ole corn on the cob...
3 TBL butter
4 cups fresh corn kernels (cut off cob)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
2 TBL thinly sliced basil (I use fresh sage out of the garden...gives a very different, but great flavor)
In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add corn, salt, and sugar; cook stirring occasionally, 12 to 15 minutes, or until edges of corn are lightly browned. Stir in basil. Serve corn immediately. Do not over Cook!!
PS: We have a fox family next door. Momma, daddy and 4 babies. We're trying to catch their pictures on a motion detecting camera...
